Li pengbo, male, born in March 1976, doctor, professor , doctoral supervisor, works in Institute of Cotton Research, Shanxi Agricultural University. He is the 9^th and 10^th executive director of Cotton Branch of Chinese Society of Agronomy, the 11th director of Shanxi Crop Society, and the 7^th and 8^th crop varieties certification committee member of Shanxi Province.

Overview of Teaching and Research

He has been engaged in the scientific research of cotton genetics and breeding for 25 years. He has presided over 11 projects of national Natural Science Foundation of China, national key research and development projects, national Transgenic Special Project, Shanxi Scientific and technological Breakthrough project, Shanxi Scientific and technological Aids to Xinjiang, and participated in 15 projects of national "863", national transgenic special project, and provincial scientific and technological breakthrough project. He has published more than 40 papers in international and national academic journals, 12 of which have been included in SCI. He has obtained 11 national patents and 4 local standards of Shanxi Province. He has won 5 prizes of Shanxi Science and Technology Progress.
