Main Research directions
1. Identification of drought resistance genes in sorghum and their molecular regulatory mechanism
Overview of Teaching and Research
I undertake the undergraduate courses of Synthetic Biology. For scientific research, with sorghum as the main research object, I focus on the identification of drought resistance genes through forward genetics, uncovering of underlying molecular mechanisms, and exploration of the role of mitochondrial proteins in drought adaptation.
Teaching and Research Projects
1. Genome-wide association analysis of sorghum drought tolerance traits and gene identification, National Natural Science Foundation of China (Special Sub-project of Coarse Grain), Preside over.
2. Molecular mechanism of drought resistance regulation by alternative oxidase in sorghum, Shanxi Basic Research Program (Youth), Preside over.
3. Identification and functional studies of mitochondrial proteins in sorghum in response to drought stress, Shanxi Province Excellent Doctor Award Scientific Research Program, Preside over.
4. Startup Project of Doctor scientific research, Shanxi Agricultural University, Preside over.
5. Molecular mechanism of interaction between brassinolide and jasmonate regulated by polycomb protein LHP 1, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Preside over.
